The Fatherhood Alliance is still in its foundational phase—your application helps us understand where support is needed most and connects you to future opportunities for guidance, resources, and advocacy as our programs grow.

Who Will Qualify

  • Residency Requirements:

    • Currently living in the lower 48 U.S. states; citizenship not required, but must be able to show proof of age

  • Insurance and Coverage Status – anyone denied coverage for a vasectomy, hormone replacement therapy or STI testing, including:

    • Uninsured and not eligible for Medicaid

    • Denied Medicaid or other public health coverage

    • Independent contractors, gig workers, or self-employed individuals without employer-provided health insurance

    • Veterans without full VA healthcare benefits

  • Financial Situation:

    • Those earning below $35,000 annually

    • Those who are unemployed or underemployed

    • Those experiencing financial hardship (e.g., bankruptcy, high debt, low credit score)

  • Health and Disability Factors:

    • Those eligible for permanent or long-term disability

    • Those with a cognitive or behavioral disability who can provide informed consent

  • Parental Factors:

    • Single fathers or those with child support obligations

  • Access and Legal Barriers:

    • Those living in a state with restricted access to birth control or abortion services

    • Those in areas with limited access to urology and reproductive health services

    • Those who believe they were unfairly represented or discriminated against in family court
